Edgemont, Pennsylvania – July 1, 2018 – Peak Beam Systems is excited to announce the release of a new battery charging solution for use with Maxa Beam Handheld Searchlights.
The new MBP-3200 Series Smart Charger recharges MBP-1308 Series Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Batteries in just 100 minutes from a variety of AC and DC power sources. The charger is an upgraded alternative to the two standard LiFePO4 battery chargers (MBP-3205 and MBP-3230), offering a faster charge time, advanced charge status feedback, and expanded input voltage range from 11-32VDC.
As of June 1, 2018, the Smart Charger has replaced the standard chargers in select Maxa Beam Searchlight packages including the Deluxe Package, Escalation of Force Package, and Force Protection Package.
Smart Charger model MBP-3200-AD includes an AC power supply and a vehicle adapter. The vehicle adapter doubles as a cable for the Maxa Beam Searchlight, allowing the searchlight to be powered directly from a vehicle’s 12V socket.
The Smart Charger can also receive input power through a 28VDC NATO Slave cable (MBA-7406), a 100-240VAC searchlight power supply (MBP-5010), and the searchlight’s 12VDC vehicle adapter (MBA-7110).
