Edgemont, Pennsylvania – September 1, 2014 – Peak Beam Systems, Inc. is excited to announce the release of the new 7.5 Amp-hour Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery for use with the Company’s handheld Maxa Beam Searchlight product line.
With an impressive 115 minute run time and 2500 life cycles, the new 7.5Ah LiFePO4 battery (#MBP-1308) is the most powerful battery that Peak Beam will offer in 2015. The new battery weighs in at 3.0 lbs. and charges in just 110 minutes.
The 7.5Ah Battery has replaced the older 10Ah LiFePO4 Battery (#MBP-1310) which had been restricted for air shipments due to its slightly higher Lithium content. The new 7.5Ah Battery falls below the restricted amounts and may therefore be shipped via any common carrier to locations around the world.
Like the discontinued 10Ah option, the new 7.5Ah LiFePO4 Battery is compatible with all older Maxa Beam Searchlights but does require a LiFePO4-compatible power cord to connect to the searchlight. For more information on LiFePO4-compatible cables, chargers, and accessories please visit the MBP-1308 7.5Ah LiFePO4 Battery product listing in Peak Beam’s online catalog.
